AGNES STREET PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
WORLD WAR I MEMORIAL.

At the Somme Heritage Centre near Newtownards,Co.Down there is a plaque from the Agnes Street Presbyterian Church, Shankill Road, Belfast commemorating the men who died in the First World War, 1914 - 1919. With the kind permission of the Centre the names of the soldiers are reproduced below.

"In sincere appreciation of the loyalty and courage of 545 men of this congregation who served with the Colours in the defence of Empire and Liberty and in loving memory of the following who made the great sacrifice."
